33"x 25"overall frame. 9"x 9"image. A semi-profile view of Rudolph Valentino in his costume
from "The Sheik"is in rich yet muted colors,with a surmounted rope design at the lower edge that
sets off the autograph "Rudolph Valentino". The image is set in four graduated mattes that
enhance the colors of his costume,under glass,and sis urrounded by a wide silk matte and
bronzed wooden frame. A paper label on the back indicates the autograph has been
authenticated by Memorabilia Ltd,of Rancho La Costa,California. That firm was owned by the late
Leon Becker,considered one of the most respected autograph dealers and scholars in America.
