Felt swivel head with pressed and painted facial features,painted brown side- glancing eyes with dark brown eyeliner and grey eye shadow,tapered brows,rounded nose with accented nostrils,closed mouth posed in mischievous smile with hole for cigarette at the side,impressed cheek dimples,henna mohair side-parted hair in short flapper bob,slender torso with modeled bosom and elongated waist,slender elongated limbs with shaped bent elbows,and bent knees designed for seating pose,high-heel shaped feet,wearing maroon wool felt flapper style dress and long pearls,heels. Condition: the doll and hair are excellent with well-preserved painting of features,costume is an accurate replacement,original stool shown in the catalog image is replaced by a chair. Comments: Lenci,the model was shown in the 1926 Lenci catalog as #553,with blonde hair,named Mimy; yet was likely inspired by the most internationally famous of the Hollywood starlets,Clara Bow,known as the "It"girl,according to long research by Billie Nelson Tyrell. Value Points: very rare Lenci model to find with distinctive and charming facial model,and beautiful painting and stylized hair.
