Description
28"h. x 24"w. x 12"d. The wooden-framed theatre with elaborate die-cut proscenium depicting
mythological creatures has lithographed paper cover depicting architectural carvings,an arched
top stage with paper curtains,and an extended stage floor. There is one permanent background
with side panels. Very good original condition,some tears and creases in proscenium gargoyles.
The "Urania"theatre was designed and made by J. Scholz of Mainz,circa 1890.
