21"(53 cm.) Composition socket head,blue sleep eyes,dark eye liner,smoky-blue eye shadow,real lashes,brush-stroked brows,closed mouth with richly-painted lips,blushed cheeks,blonde mohair wig in elaborate original braided coiffure,composition five-piece body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: (Madame Alexander hang tag and costume tag). Comments: Alexander,from her portrait series of 1938 and 1946 re-introduction at the New York Toy Fair,the doll was identified in Alexander archives as "Victoria"and is also known as "Princess Flavia". Value Points: very fine condition with beautiful complexion and painting,original well-preserved coiffure,head- dress,ivory satin and lace gown with velvet banner,undergarments,cream satin shoes.
