Description
50"x 50". The thickly-woven tapestry depicts a courtyard scene with palm trees and a domed
building in the background,and Rudolph Valentino as The Sheik along with his richly-decorated
horse as he beckons to a lovely young maiden. The tapestry is stamped "Registered"on the
reverse,and "Made in Belgium",presumably under commission from the studio. Very fine
condition. Circa 1920s.
