Description
9"(23 cm.) A bronze frame is designed to appear as though a vine-covered garden and
swing,from which is suspended a bronzed "rope: that supports a swing seat on which is seated a
lady with flowing hair and gown,her arms raised to hold the swing ropes and one knee bent. The
statue is signed Moreau,and may be August Moreau (French,1834-1917) who is noted for his Art
Nouveau genre bronze works. Excellent condition.
