9"(23 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque torso,brown glass inset eyes,painted
lashes,feathered brows,accented nostrils and eye corners,open mouth with slightly-parted
lips,two square-cut upper teeth and one lower,pierced ears,blonde mohair wig over plaster
pate,shapely plump torso,peg-jointed bisque arms and legs with chubby muscular shape
excepting very dainty tiny ankles,fingers curled,painted yellow ankle boots with black
straps,wearing red silk dress with lace trim,undergarments,matching hair bow,earrings.
Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 102. Comments: Kestner,circa 1880,the model is referred
to as "French Wrestler"for its sturdy body shape. Value Points: very beautiful example with
original costume and wig. $1800/2800
