Description
17"x 11". The lithographed tin sign colorfully depicts five little dolls sitting on a bench while
nearby their little girl mother is carefully dyeing their clothes a vibrant new color. Titled "A Busy
Day in Dollville"the scene was drawn by the American artist,Bessie Pease Gutmann as a
promotion for Diamond Dyes. The story of Bessie Gutmann is told on the reverse side along
with,of course,a promotion for Diamond Dyes and American Art Works who printed the work.
