Description
34"h. x 36"l. x 16"d. The wooden-framed theatre has lithographed-paper designs of
architectural columns,cornice with two seated figures,and an unusual detail of a crowded
orchestra pit at the front. There is a background scene and six side panels depicting the interior
of a Gothic style castle; and three additional back panels. Good condition,original papers with
some darkening. An identical theatre appeared in a catalog of J.F. Schreiber in 1901,but may also
have been made for some years previously.
