allowing the head to tilt side-to-side and nod forward,blue glass enamel inset eyes,lightly-
painted lashes and feathered brows,accented nostrils,closed mouth with outlined lips,pierced
ears,brunette mohair wig over cork pate,French kid poupee body with shapely torso and
limbs,wearing beautiful antique white poupee gown,undergarments,kidskin slippers,bonnet and
opera glasses. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: L. Depose 4 D. Comments: Doleac &
Cie,circa 1870,with 1867 deposed rare head articulation by Dehors lending a deluxe air of
elegance in the posing of the doll. Value Points: rare signed poupee with luxury details of
construction,and exquisite costume.
