Mask-shaped face with simple lines of a soft suede-like fabric,with painted features,side-slant brown eyes with light eye shadow,tinted brows,closed mouth,black fleeced hair in very narrow braids arranged in elaborate coiffure with side curls onto the face and a high topknot decorated with pearls and faux-jewels,elongated torso and limbs in the salon doll style of silky twill,sewn-on silk slippers,and wearing beautiful green silk costume with rich embroidery. Condition: generally excellent,lips may be retouched. Comments: the doll may portray the silent screen Chinese actress who starred in the French film,Voile du Bonheur,of 1923. Value Points: an intriguing doll in both its construction details and historical background.
