9 1/2"(24 cm.) Felt swivel head with pressed and painted facial features,brown round and side-
glancing eye,long curly brown lashes,button-shaped nose,mouth with hole for cigarette,brunette
mohair wig,muslin body,felt limbs. Condition: near mint,very fresh. Comments: Lenci,the doll
appeared in the company's 1933 catalog as model 300/16 and,although not designated under
his name in this catalog was clearly designed to depict the popular child star,Jackie Coogan.
Value Points: very fresh and vibrant colors of original costume including patched pants,rolled-up
sleeves felt shirt,large cap,with cigarette and (added) celluloid pin "Jackie Coogan Club".
