20"h. x 21"w. x 11"d. Of similar style to #272,with variations in gesso design,and having faux-
blue marble painted base,and paper details of curtain at the sides. There are 2 two-sided
backgrounds. Very good condition. Gottschalk for the French market,the "Opera"appeared in the
Paris department store Etrennes catalog for many years,circa 1890.
