8"(20 cm.) Paper mache head with sculpted helmet and goggles,painted facial features,metal
body with elaborate articulation from ball-bearing jointing,paper mache hands and feet with
painted black shoes,wearing original factory costume of brown flannel aviator coat and leggings.
Condition: generally excellent. Marks: (Bucherer mark on torso). Comments: Swiss,circa 1920s,by
the Bucherer firm. Value Points: very rare model by Bucherer,with wonderful details and original
costume.
