15"(38 cm.) -20". Each is all-composition with socket head,three with sleep eyes,lashes,(Sabu
with dark complexion,painted brown eyes and white eyedots),closed mouth,five piece body.
Condition: generally excellent,two have a few very light craze lines. Marks: "A Thief of Bagdad
Creation"(original paper label). Comments: Molly-es,the costumed dolls were inspired by the
Alexander Korda film of 1940,their lavish silks,brocades,and "jewels"a perfect fit for Molly
Goldman's doll costume studio that marketed under the name Molly-es,and who advertising that
she created dolls based upon Hollywood celebrities. Value Points: perfectly-preserved
dolls,including Sabu himself,a splendid Astrologer,and two others,one surely the Princess with
"jeweled"turban and sash.
