15"(38 cm.) Firmly-stuffed muslin face with center seam,blue glass inset eyes with googly
downcast expression,painted features,shaded brown eyeliner,closed mouth painted
dimples,stitched-on painted ears,black fleecy hair,all muslin body with over-sized feet enclosed
in brown canvas shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: circa 1920s,maker unknown.
Value Points: wonderfully designed doll with artistic painting,wearing original costume in the
style of Jackie Coogan,including trousers with suspenders,and over-sized checkered flannel hat
turned sideways.
