glancing eyes,closed mouth,small "dot"moustache,muslin body,sewn-on velvet shoes. Condition:
generally excellent,light surface dustiness. Marks: Especially made by Dean's Rag Book
Co,Lts,London,Lupino Lane in "The Lambeth Walk". Comments: from a British family of stage
performers,Lane was known in his childhood roles as "Little Nipper". He later performed on
Broadway,and starred in and directed in silent and sound films in Hollywood and England,making
famous the "Lambeth walk"(mentioned on these dolls) from his dance routine in the 1939 British
film "Me and My Girl". Value Points: named celebrity dolls with original costumes.
