Description
18"(46 cm.) Each has composition head with sculpted and painted facial features,two with sculpted cap with emblazoned eagle,all-composition body,posed with right arm bent in salute,and wearing original army uniform; and the third with excelsior-filled body and composition hands,brown side-parted hair,original army private uniform. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Reliable (private). Comments: the private was made by Reliable of Canada,circa 1940s,the other two each depict General MacArthur with slight variations of costume and facial painting,one with original paper label "Gen. MacArthur,The Man of the Hour"by Freundlich,circa 1944. Value Points: WWI era dolls,rare-to-find in their original costumes.
