18"(46 cm.) Each has wax shoulder head of glamorous adult lady,with sculpted hair in stylized
1920s manner,painted features,armature wrapped body with unique crepe paper costume
representing a particular role played by that actress in a Hollywood film. Including lady in leaf
petal costume and having dramatic white hair and richly-decorated brown eyes and eye shadow;
and dainty lady with strawberry-blonde hair,blue eyes glancing flirtatiously to the right,and an
elaborate five-color crepe paper gown,each doll on the original wooden stand. Condition:
generally excellent,some wear to crepe paper. Marks: (each doll has The Art Shop,Ambassador
Hotel label). Comments: circa 1920,see information with lot #151. Value Points: rare one-of-a-
kind dolls,whose persona is yet to be identified.
