22"(56 cm.) Pressed bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate with modeled
bosom and shoulder blades,very full cheeks and throat,brown glass enamel inset eyes,thick
dark eyeliner,painted curly lashes,incised eyeliner,brush-stroked and multi-feathered
brows,mauve-blushed eye shadow,shaded nostrils and eye corners,closed mouth with defined
teeth between the outlined shaded lips,pierced ears,original blonde lambswool wig over cork
pate,French kid bebe body with gusset jointing,kid upper arms,bisque lower arms and hands.
Condition: generally excellent,body especially sturdy,perfect bisque hands. Marks: (circle dot
symbol) Depose (bottom edge shoulder plate) Bru Jne (and) 8 (shoulder sides). Comments:
Leon Casimir Bru,the first period of his bebe known as circle dot,circa 1880. Value Points: rare
size of the early bebe with superior bisque,sculpting and painting,original very sturdy
body,wearing early silk and velvet dress and bonnet that may be
