Description
14" (36 cm.) The wooden rocking chair with finial tips has lithographed paper covering the seat and back with various words spelled out in a playful style, and the crest labeled "Spelling Chair". Very good, paper intact albeit darkened. American, Bliss, circa 1890, the chair was offered as both straight chair and rocking chair. Included with the chair is a Steiff golden mohair dachshund with red collar, mid-1900s.
