14"(36 cm.) and 23". Each has pressed felt face with painted facial features,mohair wig,cloth
stitch-jointed body,with original costume. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: the larger
doll wears colorful rayon costume in the folklore style,with elongated limbs; the smaller doll
wears blue and red felt flannel costume with felt emblazoned eagles on her sleeves,gold
buttons,and attached paper card with (illegible) autograph,along with a stamped label "Vive La
France,American-French War Relief,Inc",circa 1920. Value Points: brilliant costumes are
beautifully-preserved.
