16"(41 cm.) Bisque shoulder head,sculpted dark brown short curly hair beneath a sculpted grey
hat in the Tyrolean style with green under-brim and black band,painted blue eyes,red and black
upper eyeliner,single-stroke brows,accented nostrils,closed mouth with outlined lips,muslin
stitch-jointed body,paper mache lower limbs with very fancy grey painted boots,antique
costume. Condition: generally excellent,right paper mache leg reglued at ankle. Marks: F.
Comments: Germany,circa 1870. Value Points: very rare features include dark brown hair and
most unusual sculpted hat.
