Each has felt swivel head with painted facial features,brunette mohair wig,jointing at shoulders and hips,felt limbs,including larger with brown side-glancing eyes. closed mouth,zig-zag stitch at back of head,concentric-sewn wig,blue turtleneck wool sweater,felt pants with sewn-on felt patches,felt shoes with leather tips,cloth plaid cap,marked Italy on torso. And 11"with blue painted upper-glancing eyes,plump cheeks,cigarette in mouth,wearing plaid cotton shirt,blue pants with brown felt suspenders,blue felt cap,brown felt shoes. Condition: very good,smaller has sparse hair,uncertain of total originality of costumes. Comments: The larger is probably an early Lenci model. circa 1922 with classic features of that era,smaller may be Lenci,circa 1930. Value Points: two rare early felt dolls depicting Jackie Coogan as The Kid,each with added early Jackie Coogan button.
