16" (41 cm.) 18" x 18" box. A wooden box with floral-papered cover and original paper label
on the lid "Ma Poupee et Son Trousseau" hinges open to reveal a bisque head doll and her
trousseau. The doll has bisque socket head,blue glass paperweight inset eyes,painted lashes
and brows,accented nostrils,closed mouth with shaded and accented lips,pierced ears,blonde
mohair wig over Steiner pate,Steiner composition fully-jointed body,and is wearing a rose silk
dress with lace trim,undergarments,bonnet,stockings and shoes. Alongside the doll are
arranged other items of clothing including chemises,bebe stays,pantalets,and petticoats,and
lace and silk ribbons frame the beautiful lithograph on the inside lid. Condition: generally
