with full lips,blonde mohair curly lush wig,muslin body,wax lower limbs,painted black high
heels,wearing stylish peignoir. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Anita Page (autograph on
back shoulder plate). Comments: portrait model of Anita Page (1910-2008),the extremely
popular silent film actress who successfully transitioned into talking films,until her abrupt
retirement in 1933 at age 23. Value Points: beautiful and well-preserved doll,with actress
signature,and including a copy of "Picture Play"Magazine,January 1929 with Anita featured on the
cover,autographed by her,along with two additional studio photographs autographed "To
Billie,cordially Anita Page".
