Description
4" (10 cm.) A lacquered color engraving of a woman
with a birdcage is mounted on heavy card stock and
enclosed within a cast brass frame. The frame is
arranged on a pair of floor-standing urn-shaped
brackets,and was designed as an ornamental fire
screen. A maker's mark is on the reverse.
Excellent condition. Probably English,mid-19th
century,very rare and beautifully-preserved
miniature accessory.
