Description
24" x 13" x 11". A room setting with shaped white
columns at the front sides has five arched windows
with gilt-paper edged frames,original wall and
floor papers,and a two-step full-width entrance.
The room is assembled as an art gallery,the
hopeful artist showing various paintings and
prints to the lady patron. There is an
ormolu-framed crystal chandelier,soft metal
fireplace with gilt metal mantel clock under glass
dome,Erhard & Sohne ormolu pedestal table with two
matching side chairs,and seven various easels
with paintings or prints as well as more prints
hanging on the walls for a total of 17. Excellent
condition,original wall and floor papers with
typical fading. For the French market,the room is
mid-19th century,the contents mostly late 19th
century.
