Description
8" (20 cm.) Felt socket head with pressed and painted facial features, large blue round upper glancing eyes, long curly lashes, one stroke brows, rosy cheeks, "O" shaped closed mouth, blonde mohair braids under fitted black coiffure with felt corders, jointing at shoulders and hips. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Lenci (cloth and paper labels, pencil labeled "miniature 46"). Comments: Lenci, circa 1935, perfectly preserved condition with brilliant felt costume having applique designs. Private collection Merle Glickman.
