Description
23" x 10" x 11". The wooden framed room with
ochre-painted exterior and base has brown painted
front columns with gold accents and original
interior wall and floor papers,the floor to
simulate an elaborate parquet design. The wall
papers feature paneled sections with intricate
borders and then with further borders around the
ceiling level. There are two back windows with
pressed and gilded card stock valences in an
intricate carved design,with lace curtains. The
furnishings are highlighted by a wooden parlor set
with lithographed paper covers to simulate
elaborate inlays,comprising silk upholstered
sofa,three matching upholstered chairs,dessert
buffet,hall mirror,and parlor table. There is a
crystal chandelier,a rare soft metal hanging
shelf,ceramic parlor stove,clock under glass
dome,and various framed prints and other
accessories. Three bisque dolls are included,one
being a soldier with original factory
uniform,along with a paper mache gentleman in
original soldier uniform. Excellent condition.
