2" (5 cm.) Seven early tin containers of food with lithographed paper labels include very rare Nurnberger Lebkuchen (gingerbread),along with a tin bucket of Apricots,an apple delicacy,Ochsenmaulsalat (an oxtail delicacy),and three kinds of seafood: sardines in a plain tin with brass label,and two French delicacies,one being lobster and the other "Petit Sale aux Choux". Excellent condition. Late 19th century,early tinned foods are extremely rare to find.
