Description
6" (15 cm.) l. fireplace. The wooden framed
fireplace has black-painted finish on frame and
columns that center the fireplace interior with
patterned gilt-paper design. There is a marble
mantel and gilt soft-metal fireplace hearth
fender. Included is an ormolu-framed "painting"
with unusual lacquer-like finish lending a look of
an early darkened oil painting,original paper
label on the reverse. Excellent condition. Germany
for the French market,mid-19th century.
