Early German Wooden Grocery Store with Very Rare Food Labels

Description
34" x 12" x 16". The wooden-framed shop has original paint-grained finish on both exterior and interior,with a decorative paper border around the inside ceiling level. The floor is also painted with striping detail. The walls are fitted with attached white shelving and spice drawers and there is a matching counter with two drawers and a fitted brass scale. The spice drawers are each each labeled with old Germanic script and contain many rare food and spice names,many being old style words from the mid-19th century such as "zimmel" (the old word for cinnamon),"gerste" (barley),and "feigen" (figs) and others. A paper mache storekeeper in antique costume stands in the store,and there are additional wooden barrels and containers. Germany,circa 1850,some typical rubs on the all-original finish so rare to find,and with wonderful rare drawer labels. An early cast iron bell is attached to the exterior wall.
