Description
1 " (4 cm.) Tinplate is wrapped around a round
wooden base and forms the door and door frame of a
wire mesh domed cage; the door is held open by a
string which,in imaginative play only,acts as the
"spring" to snap shut the door when the
grey-painted carved wooden mouse enters. Excellent
condition. Mid-19th century. Very rare and
well-preserved
