Early Wooden Fireplace with Ormolu Clock and Cherub

The wooden fireplace has lithographed paper front to simulate marble,lacquered white paper cover on the gracefully-curved mantel,gold paper on the floor,wood on the hearth and a painted "flame" on the back. An ormolu clock surmounted by a copper statue of cherub with flute. Excellent condition,lithographed clock face is missing. Germany,fireplace circa 1865.
