Description
8" (20 cm.) l. sofa. Of pressed tin with original
white painted finish with gold accents,the
ensemble comprises a long sofa with curved arms
and three-section back,five matching arm chairs
with ball-shaped feet,and an oval library table
with round pedestal and three curved feet. The
chairs and sofa are covered with original
deeply-padded pale green silk upholstery with gold
edging. Good/very good condition,original paint
and upholstery with some minor typical wear.
Germany,Rock & Graner,circa 1875,the white painted
furniture by this firm is extremely rare.
