Description
8" (20 cm.) doll. 10" with gown. Bisque shoulder
head with black painted curly hair,painted facial
features,muslin body,bisque lower limbs. The doll
is wearing a factory original presentation,her
stiffened gown extending far before her body with
likely original purpose as a candy box cover. She
wears her original fitted coiffe and patterned
muslin nanny dress and holds a small baby in
original Christening gown with lace trim to match
her own apron. Excellent condition. French,circa
1870,the beautiful presentation doll is in near
mint condition and has wonderful detail of costume.
