Description
15" (38 cm.) Polychromed terra cotta shoulderhead, very generous modeling of bosom, amber-tinted complexion, black hair drawn from face with little curls around the forehead and coiled bun at the back, incised character lines on forehead and cheeks, enamel eyes, closed mouth with row of teeth, tow-wrapped posable armature body, carved wooden lower arms and legs, painted green stockings and brown clogs. Excellent condition. Neapolitan, mid-1700s.
