Description
32" x 20" x 19". The wooden-framed kitchen is
painted its original aqua-cream on both inside and
out and has a painted aqua geometric design that
extends around the ceiling line at the inside and
extending all around the back,with aqua accents on
the columns and a dark aqua floor edging. The
floor is painted in an aqua and cream checkerboard
pattern to simulate tile. There is a matching
stand for the dollhouse to be placed at child
level for play. Inside is a set of original
matching wooden furnishings comprising a cupboard
with glass upper doors,an eight-drawer
floor-standing spice cabinet,utensil rack,two
matching shelves,table and two chairs. There is a
tinplate kitchen stove with original set-in
pans,and a myriad of wonderful antique kitchenware
objects including tin canisters,tin molds,blue
enamel ware,enamel utensil rack,porcelain
dishes,cast iron meat grinder,and there are two
bisque dollhouse ladies. Excellent condition,left
wall slightly curved. Germany,circa 1885,a
wonderful example of painted kitchen with original
furnishings and rare accessories.
