6 " (17 cm.) l. recamier. Each is of painted brown tin to simulate rosewood,comprising a very rare recamier with original red velvet tufted upholstery including flared arms and attached foot pillow; matching arm chair; three matching balloon back chairs with upholstered seats; and a parlor table with center pedestal and three cabriole lower legs. The set of furniture,stored in wooden bentwood lidded box that is included,were acquired for The Boys' Collection from the attic of a private home in Ulm,Germany. Especially fine condition. Germany,circa 1875,Rock & Graner,the recamier is extremely rare and all pieces are in extremely well-preserved state.
