Description
20" x 18" x 14". A wooden doll house room with
carved cornice and elaborate ornamental die-cut
decorations at the front having winged dove and
scroll design is painted brown and grey with gilt
accents. The interior has wall and floor papers
and is furnished in a cozy family Christmas
morning scene. The antique furnishings includes
wooden chestnut settee and chair with maroon
velvet upholstery,with matching table,dessert
buffet,and hall mirror. A ceramic stove warms the
room,framed prints hang on the walls including one
of Santa with little girl,and a large feather tree
stands in the corner with a grand display of
holiday toys and dolls surrounding,including
rocking horse,fleecy lambs,bisque dolls and toy
soldier. Four German bisque dolls form the family
including mother and father (he with mutton chop
hair style),and little girl and boy. Excellent
condition,the room box is repainted and the walls
and floor may be re-papered. Germany,circa 1910,a
wonderful scene of Christmas morning is beautiful
condition,with rare toys,rare doll house man,and
having a beautiful antique chandelier of crystal
and emerald glass beads.
