Description
26" x 12" x 11". Wooden-framed room with cream painted exterior decorated with red and black accents,has interior papered walls with charming bird-themed ceiling border,and lithographed paper floors with geometric design. There is a carved room divider which sets off an office area,and a wooden cornice above the single window. The room is furnished with 1930s furnishing including a dark stained dining/parlor set with colored amber glass in the cupboard and sideboard,along with oval table with unusual ribbed pedestal,grandfather clock,desk,and a sofa with matching armchair in unusual shape and with original velvet upholstery,along with two side chairs. There are also soft metal jardinieres and tea trays,glassware service,various prints,radio,thermometer,and two stylishly-dressed doll house people,he with a walking stick and his top hat tossed on the sofa,she with faux-leopard coat. Excellent condition. Germany,circa 1930,the furniture ensemble is by Paul Hunger,a most charming period room with original furrnishings,
