Description
32" x 14" x 13". The wooden-framed box has two
rooms, with painted green exterior and brown base
and columns with black and gold accents. There are
three windows at the back, each being a
triple-paned single window that opens inward, and
each with a rare pressed cardboard cornice. The
floors have original lithographed papers, and the
walls have old,(but likely not original) papers
and borders. A door with applique carving opens
between the rooms. Very good condition, exterior
repainted. Germany,circa 1900,attributed to
Christian Hacker,the pressed cardboard cornices
are very rare.
