The wooden-framed handmade merry-go-round in folk art style with imaginative decorative details of decoupage,fringe,and painting,features six wooden seats painted in various colors and decorated with different themes. There is a canvas roof with gold finial and decoupage panels around the edging. The frame rests upon a swivel base,allowing the merry-go-round to twirl around and around. Excellent condition,original painting and decorations. Germany,circa 1920. charming decorative folk art that is a delightful adjunct to a doll house village.
