23" (58 cm.) The hand-carved wooden ferris wheel has four four double-sided gondola seats and is painted in a colorful design of red,blue,green and brown with gold accents. There is a facade at the front decorated to appear as though the entrance to the carnival ride and the wheel and facade are mounted on a wooden base. A wooden-handled crank activates the mechanism,and the wheel turns merrily around and around. Excellent condition. Germany,early 20th century,the charming craftsman style with original painted details is a wonderful doll house village accessory.
