Description
4 1/2" (11 cm.) One piece all-bisque Kewpie with sculpted black military helmet with gold finial and gold emblazoned eagle, side-glancing googly eyes, blue wings, with black belt, brown rifle in right hand, silver tipped knife in black scabbard. Excellent condition except tip of rifle broken. Germany, circa 1915, from original design by Rose O'Neill.
