4 " (11 cm.) l. of board. The five-drawer wooden spice rack has black-painted edging and wooden knob handles,with lettered labels on the drawers,original pencil script notation on the reverse. Along with a very rare wooden knife sharpening board with blades fitted into the legs,serving as honing irons. A bone-handled knife is included. Germany,mid-19th century.
