The ebony-finished wooden furniture has elaborately-carved and incised detailing,and includes dessert buffet with fancy columns and carved crest; round table with pedestal and three legs; settee with carved shield at the back and unusually high legs; rare rocking chair,and three side chairs. The settee and chairs are upholstered in red leather with impressed designs to complement the wood carving. Excellent condition. Germany,circa1890.
