Description
32" x 14" x 14". The wooden-framed box forms two
rooms with original exterior ochre paint and
shapely front columns. There are three windows at
the back,each with top window and two lower hinged
windows for opening,and a door with lithographed
paper detail opens between the rooms. The rooms
have original wall and floor lithographed
papers,and there are two decorative paper wall
edgings in each room. The rooms have original
wooden curtain rods from Paul Leonhardt of
Eppendorf. The curtains are old and include lacer
linings. There is a fabric-covered ceiling
fixture. Very good condition with all original
paint and paper finishes. Germany,circa 1910,the
room is lettered "224" on the underside.
