Description
27" x 14" x 14". The wooden kitchen has original ochre and green painting on the exterior with grey striping on the flat front pilasters,originally lithographed-paper floors and walls to 2/3 the room height,with chair rail and painting above and a decorative paper border. The room has a wonderful matched set of kitchen cabinets and work tables,each with natural finish and black stenciled design,including cupboard with glass cabinets above,display cabinet,work table,shelf,and three-drawer chest labeled "Putzzeug","Werkzeug" and "Wichzeug" denoting various cleaning supplies. The kitchen also has a stove with warming oven,and is furnished with various cooking utensils and pots and porcelain dishes,along with three bisque dolls. A German cook book for children is included,with an image on the front cover of the same stove as included in this kitchen. Excellent condition. Germany,circa 1900.
